When incorporating core exercises into your training plan you want to make sure that you are using exercises that use your total body. Some of the best total body exercises come in the form of carries. If you have ever had the pleasure of moving then you are very familiar with carrying things. You know when you bend down to pick up one end of a couch you need to make sure your core is engaged to pick it up. Add in walking with the couch and all of sudden you will feel your entire body working hard just to maintain a grasp on the couch and be able to move it in the right position.
Carrying heavy objects is in our DNA. We are meant to move thing from one place to another. This is why loaded carries in the fitness world is a great way to challenge your body and create quality core strength. Loaded carries are simple but quite effective movements when looking to get strong and fit.
