Why is coaching so important? It is important to understand that to get to where you want to go, sometimes the only thing that can help you is a coach. The goals that you choose is all dependent on what you want in your life at this moment. The goal we are looking to achieve can be with anything, it could be in your personal life, with your health and fitness, with your nutrition, or your professionally. Here at Training for Warriors Long Island we help people achieve their goals through coaching. We help them become stronger versions of themselves not just physically but as well as mentally. Coaching is not just having someone tell you what to do but rather have someone that will lead you and know that they have the experience of what you are currently going through but have also led others down the same path as well.
Here at TFW Long Island we're using a system created by Martin Rooney. The TFW system has been around for over fifteen years. It's been used in over two hundred locations all over the world in twenty plus countries. We're using a system of training that works. We're not trying to recreate a different approach to it. We're using an approach that has worked with thousands. If you need help with your nutrition, there's thousands of different websites or nutrition coaches out there. It's learning which ones are the best. We use a company called Precision Nutrition which is one of the most reputable companies out there in the sports nutrition world. When it comes to finding a coach you have to do the research to find a person that's going to lead you to where you want to go. You need to find a coach that just doesn’t regurgitate information that they have read from a book but someone that is able to apply that information and teach you how to use it so you can get the results that you want. This is one of the most important aspects of coaching and if you do find that coach you more than likely will get the results.
A coach’s job is to tell you what to do and how to do it but more importantly make sure to teach you how to create that into a habit to make sure you're doing that consistently over time. You don’t want a coach that will just point you in the direction and say go ahead, you want a coach that will lead you down the path so you could see that you're not alone. This is the support system that people need in order to achieve results.
A coach is a leader and leaders lead from the front, not from the back. The strongest leaders of history have always been in the front lines with their soldiers. Here at Training for Warriors Long Island when we talking about nutrition, we also live it. When we talk about training, we live it. It’s about accountability and if we are asking others to do it we will too. If we're doing it, with our very busy schedules,then we are able to show others that they to can do it and accomplish the goals that they want.
Having a coach is a very powerful thing. A great coach will lead you down the path that they have lead others before. A great coach will guide you pulling back sometimes and pushing you hard others to get the most out of you. A great coach will hold you accountable for your actions so that you stay on task towards your goals. A great coach will be your biggest fan and your strongest support system. A coach will motivate you and keep you moving towards your goal. A great coach will inspire you to do great things, things that you may have thought were previously impossible. This is why coaching is so important and why at TFW it is our number one priority. A great coach will get you the results that you want and that is what it is all about.
